Around the World in an Afternoon

This past weekend, Mugwump Productions and parent company Sight & Sound Productions worked with the City of Jacksonville on the always-popular World of Nations festival at Met Park. This event celebrated the diversity of culture throughout the globe while offering guests the unique experience of learning about various countries and sampling savory cuisines.

World of Nations displayed the core similarities among humankind. Energetic flamenco dancers and fiery Chinese dragons created a festive atmosphere filled with a vast spectrum of color and excitement.

Mugwump Productions provided various props throughout the event including impressive stage sets and entryways that accented each country’s unique architectural design. From the Roman columns of Italy to mystical Cambodian temples, Mugwump was able to deliver an authentic cultural experience for the thousands of visitors that attended.

Sight & Sound Productions was eager to lend a helping hand to the City of Jacksonville and promote the diverse origins of the American experience.
