Jon Davis Buys Sight & Sound Productions

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Jon B. Davis has acquired Sight & Sound Productions, a Jacksonville-based event production company that designs and executes meetings, conventions and special events. Davis, now CEO and owner will continue to oversee the management of both Sight & Sound and Mugwump Productions, a Sight & Sound owned event décor company best known for its unique theme elements and custom 3D props and sculptures.

“The only thing that’s changed is the ownership,” says Davis, “As we continue to grow and flourish, I’m fully committed to continually carrying out the values and commitment to service established by our founder, Curt Hubbard back in 1987.”

Mr. Davis joined the Sight & Sound team in 1996 as director of sales, advanced to executive vice president in 1999 and was made president in 2001. He began purchasing the business from Mr. Hubbard in 2006 and just completed the buyout in June of 2011. Mr. Davis takes a great deal of pride in giving back to the Jacksonville community that has given so much to he and his company. Sight & Sound proudly sponsors well over a quarter million dollars of services annually to regional non-profits and community organizations.

Sight & Sound employs nearly 40 people and will remain privately owned and based in Jacksonville. To find out more, please visit www.ssav.net.
